We are now encouraging all our new patients to use the register online option by following the link below.
This option is a quick, easy, and efficient way for you to register with the surgery and is accessible at any time. You will be guided through a series of questions and your application will be submitted and sent directly to the surgery; please ensure you complete all fields to avoid any delay in processing your registration. We aim to fully register new patients within 14 days.
Please ensure you use our boundary postcode checker before completing the online registration form to check that your address is covered by Roborough Surgery.
We do not accept out of area registrations.

In line with our contractual requirements all of our patients, as of the 30th June 2015, will be allocated a named and accountable GP.
What Does Accountable Mean?
Your named accountable GP will oversee the co-ordination of your care amongst the other health professionals.
Does this mean that my named accountable GP will take 24hr responsibility for my care?
No, the named accountable GP will not take on 24hr responsibility for your care, your named GP will purely oversee the care that you receive.
Does this mean that I have the right to see my named GP every time I book an appointment?
No, a patient can express who they would like to see, however, this may not always be possible due to appointment availability with that GP.
Can patients still see any GP they wish?
Yes, a patient can continue to see any GP they wish as they currently do.
Will I be informed in writing who my accountable named GP is?
No, your practice does not have to inform you in writing. If you would like to know who your named GP is then please contact the practice.
Accessing Health Records and Proxy Access
Recent changes to online access to medical records means that all patients aged 16+ are able to view information added to their electronic GP record should they request to do so.
For patients who already have full online records access nothing will change; for patients who have ‘core’ online access – that is, the ability to request medication, make appointments etc – they can request to view their GP record including consultations, results, documents, free text etc.
